Guess The Move

• On this page you guess the moves of master games (Classics, Carlsen, Capablanca, Karpov, Rubinstein etc)
• Learning from strong players games is one of the best methods of improvement
• Take your time and decide what move you would play if you had this position in your game
• After you make a move you will be shown info on the strength of your move, the GMs move and the top computers move
• Make an effort to understand why the GM played their move and why the engine recommends its move, you can later verify in analysis
• Once you press Enter it will jump to the next position from the game
• You can at any point click on "Next Game" which will pull up a new game from the database
• There will be a "Full Game"-button allowing you to analyze and play through the full game.
• Try to figure out the reasoning behind the GM's move choice, not just from an objective but a practical viewpoint!
• Note: This tool runs multiple instances of Stockfish for analysis, which may increase CPU usage and battery consumption.
